I do believe that every first blog entry I have ever read is similar in title to the title I slapped on this one. Then, the writer goes on to explain so many different boring details and conversations that led them to the point of “giving in” to the mass of public demand all pressing down hard without ceasing…”give us a blog!”
I don’t buy it. So I won’t try to sell it. I believe it’s insecurity that drives us to justify starting a blog. It naturally could come off as arrogant, assuming the world needs to hear from you, as you share your official take on stuff. To be sure everyone is certain that’s not the case, the tendency is to go on and on, laboring to justify a new blog.
I have no stories to report about pressure that is on me to write a blog. I won’t try to justify. Yet, here I am addressing the elephant sitting squarely atop every blog’s first post.
I am insecure.
Nevertheless, I will put it behind me after this post. If you find what I publish here to be of interest to you, read it. Share it with someone(s) you think might enjoy it, or hate it.
There will be a blend of all types of stuff. I will have lots of posts about photography from my vantage point. I have other interests and thoughts to share. I also hope to share more about me on here, for those who might be interested in that.
This is enough for now. So glad I can exercise confidence from here on.
